18 Months

I'm finally getting around to finishing up these girls 18 month write-up now that they are almost 20 months...haha! Better late than never! Right? Lately that's the theme of my life!

Time is FLYing by! These girls are on the move! I can hardly take any pictures of these two!

Kathryn

Weight: 25 lbs 5 oz     61st Percentile

Height: 31 3/4 inches  49th Percentile

Head Circum: 49.7 cm   99th Percentile

• This little girl always has a spring in her step. She loves to run and jump! 
• She is totally into shoes and ALWAYS has to have a pair on. She'll find mine, Stephen's, Andrew's or her own it doesn't matter. Andrew's are her absolute favorite and she'll wait by my side as I take his shoes off. She finds me each morning and says "shoo" "shoo" She's always got a pair on. 
• This girl is a talker and carries on so many conversations we can't quite understand....just yet. Along with momma & dadda,  she is starting to say 'jew-jew' for Andrew, 'ee-ya' for Olivia and 'bumpa' for grandpa'. 
• She is super independent, but has a soft side too. Kathryn gives the best cuddles when you can catch her in the mood. But it's not very often, she's always on the go. 
• She is totally the dominate one of the two. She will push and shove and take toys away. 
• Kathryn has no fear at the park. She'll go down just about any slide and giggles the whole way, while I stand back and have a heart attack and remind myself these girls are different than Andrew. 
• She is the best little eater and even will ask for more. I almost don't know what to do with such a good eater. She'll even stack her plate, bowl and spoon and hand it to me and say "all done" 
• She's starting to count...I guess we do it a lot through out the day. But she now says 'unnn, twooo" It's pretty cute. Especially when we are putting on shoes.
• Kathryn is Andrew's little shadow! She absolutely adores her brother! She follows him around, wants to play with the same toys he does and copies his every move and action.  

Olivia

Weight: 22 lbs 2 oz     19th Percentile

Height: 30 1/2 inches  17th Percentile

Head Circum: 46.7 cm   53rd Percentile

• Livi is my sensitive one. She needs a few extra hugs and tickles each day and she loves to be held. 
• Lately, Olivia has been into ripping her diaper off. I have to always remember to keep pants on that girl, because she'll rip her diaper off. However, she is polite and will bring it right to me. So we haven't had any accidents....yet. We've also had to resort putting her diaper on backwards a time or two. 
• She's a big fan of "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" 
• She's still not the greatest eater. She has a few of her favorites, but sometimes those don't even satisfy her. 
• She's learned to tell her sister "no" and what's even more funny is she shakes her finger to go along with it! 
• If you ask her, Olivia can show you where her, nose, eyes, mouth, teeth, ears, tongue, tummy, hand and feet are. 
• She is the best little helper and loves to clean up her toys and help mommy clean, she's always right by my side. 
• She loves to cuddle and could read book after book after book!
• This girl really loves to color. She'll sit there long after Andrew and Kathryn have lost interest.

I love to read books to these girls. With two of them we can read book after book after book. They just take turns bringing them to me and climbing onto my lap. I hope they never get to big to hold both on my lap and read!

These two are comical with each other. They are so fun to watch! They (for the most part) Love to play with each other. They also love to tease each other. When Kathryn sees something she wants she takes it. It's the "I want to play with it too" kind of take. Which usually I hear a sad cry from Olivia and know exactly what's happened. However, lately Olivia will just randomly take things from Kathryn now....and with her it's more of "I know your having fun with that toy and I want to make you mad" kind of take. Because she'll run away and hid with it...usually between my legs. We are trying to use the word "Share" a lot with these girls in hopes that they will get it, but it's such a hard age for that right now.

We might need to get a few more girl toys around the house. They love to play with cars and balls. They also love to play with purses and bag and dress up! So I guess it's all good.
                                                                                                                                                                         

These two are really starting to have their own language and talk to each other. It makes no sense to the rest of us, but the two of them seem to carry on quite the conversation. I have yet to catch it on camera, because every time I pull out my phone. They turn and look at me and say "CHEESE"
                                                                                                          

                                                                                                                                                                 

The new favorite game is ring around the rosy...The best part is Andrew still loves this game and giggles each time too. I love seeing them grab each other's hand and go.    

They started nursery at church and haven't looked back! Church has a whole new meaning for Stephe and I. They love all the toys and their teachers. Maybe it's the fact that they are a twin and have their best friend right by their side, but they have done awesome in Nursery. Which has been great, because both Stephen and I are busy the next two hours with our callings.

         

These girls absolutely love the park! We've gone tons already this spring!
